Welcome to Hwa Chong Institution’s 2024 College Open House website!

For those of you who have just completed your secondary education, let me congratulate you on reaching a significant milestone in your educational journey. I am sure all of you must be eager to find out what is in store for you as you consider your choices for the next stage of your education.

At Hwa Chong, we pride ourselves for being a school with a rich heritage and dynamic cultural environment that welcomes everyone. Indeed, Hwa Chongians work hard and play hard. It's a community that values strong bonds and creating friendships that endure a lifetime. On the Open House website, you will find useful information about the diverse course offerings, CCAs and programmes offered at Hwa Chong and the exciting college life that awaits you, when you join us as a Hwa Chongian.

At our physical open house, you'll have the opportunity to connect with me and fellow members of the Hwa Chong family. We have lined up for you my welcome address, special programmes talk, and academic as well as CCA booths, where you can have your curiosity ignited and queries answered. I also encourage you to sign up for the campus tours and the Senior-Junior Tea Sessions where you can interact with current Hwa Chong students and chat with them about the school, or about college life in general.

Welcome!

Hwa Chong Oi! First of all, congratulations to all JAE, IP and DSA students for completing yet another major milestone in your life! But, what now? Exactly one year ago, we were in your shoes: Concerned about the future, unsure of what’s next, and dizzy at a million possibilities…

Well, that’s where we come in! While these few days of researching various schools and consulting seniors for advice may be tiring for you, we are here to smoothen the process. Allow us to introduce to you to the school that has nurtured us, the community that has welcomed us, and the pillar that has supported us. This is the place we call Our Second Home.

Taking our first step into the school campus, we felt a wave of daunting uncertainties. But Hwa Chong was quick to receive us with open arms into her warm embrace, helping us navigate uncharted waters. We soon fortified strong bonds with our mentors, the staff and tutors who constantly provided their unwavering support. This was in tandem with the camaraderie from our friends cheering us on through thick and thin, making every step of the way as enjoyable as the last.

This January, we hope to share this joy with you. We warmly welcome all interested students and parents to join us for a day of exploration and unforgettable joy. We hope for you to broaden your horizons, and nurture each and every one of you into leaders of tomorrow.
